Reading Preferences: Your chosen translation, font size, dark mode setting, and bookmarks are stored locally on your device using shared preferences.
Usage Data: We do not collect analytics, tracking data, or usage statistics.

- Account data is used solely for authentication and syncing your profile across devices
- Preferences are stored locally to personalize your reading experience
- AI features (when enabled) send verse text to Google Gemini API for study insights — no personal data is included in these requests
4. Data Storage & Security
Account data is stored securely using Google Firebase with industry-standard encryption. Local preferences remain on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase Authentication — for optional user accounts (Firebase Privacy Policy)
- Cloud Firestore — for optional community features (Firebase Privacy Policy)
- Google Gemini API — for optional AI study features, only when user provides their own API key (Google AI Terms)
6. Children's Privacy
The App includes a Kids Mode designed for young readers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Kids Mode operates entirely with locally stored content and does not require an account.
7. Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile screen within the App. Local preferences can be cleared by uninstalling the App.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
