Frequently asked questions

Is Rhema really free?

Yes — 100% free, no ads, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases. The source code is on GitHub.

What makes the AI search different?

Traditional Bible search needs exact words or verse references. Rhema's AI understands natural language — ask "verses about dealing with anxiety" or "what did Jesus say about loving enemies" and get relevant results even if your words don't appear in the text.

Can I use Rhema offline?

Yes — KJV and WEB translations are bundled offline. Other translations stream and can be downloaded for offline reading. Audio chapters download for commutes and flights.

What translations are available?

14+ translations across 10 languages, including KJV (offline), WEB (offline), BSB, Yoruba, Pidgin, Spanish, Arabic, and more. Settings → Translation to browse.

Is Rhema on iPhone and Android?

Web app is live at rhemabibles.com. Native iOS and Android builds are in beta — join via GitHub while we finish store listings. The web app installs as a PWA on any device.

Is Rhema safe for kids?

Yes. No ads, no in-app purchases, no social features, no inappropriate content. Kids Mode with parent dashboard, picture-book stories, and a math gate on settings.

Can kids use it for Bible study?

Absolutely. Kids can tap through animated stories, take age-appropriate quizzes with explanations, explore interactive maps, and ask questions in their own words.

Where's the source code?
